The 27-year-old arrived at Loftus Road from Marseille last summer for an undisclosed fee and went on to make 32 appearances last season.

Following the Londoners' relegation to the Championship, Mbia is the latest big name to head for the exit door - joining the likes of Loic Remy, Adel Taarabt and Esteban Granero.

Mbia, who can also play as a centre-back, began his career with Rennes and has racked up over 40 caps for Cameroon.
