Nedum Onuoha: QPR defender sustained an injury at the weekend

Boss Harry Redknapp was already missing midfield duo Joey Barton and Niko Kranjcar through injuries as well as long-term absentees Matt Phillips, Charlie Austin, Kevin Doyle and Ale Faurlin.

And now defenders Nedum Onuoha and Aaron Hughes have been added to the sick list after being forced off at the weekend, although Redknapp hopes they will not be out for long.

"When you have a look at the creative players we've had missing again, it's difficult," said Redknapp.

"We've lost two more through Aaron Hughes and Nedum Onuoha. They've picked up strains but it shouldn't be serious."

Rangers failed to pick up a third successive win on Saturday and are now nine points behind Burnley in the second automatic promotion place.

Redknapp added: "It's been a tough week to be fair. If you had said seven points at the start of the week you would have taken them. But when you've got six you want nine, so we're disappointed obviously we didn't win.

"It's not been a bad week's work all things considered.

"It's going to be tough to catch Burnley, obviously, but you never know.

"We've just got to keep going, keep plugging away and see where that takes us."

was there, it was embarrassing - the team looked totally unbalanced from the off, the defence was woeful and when Mikel came off injured it got even worse with nobody in front of them. Up front on several occasions we had opportunities and nobody would shoot - it was a complete farse! On the back of Salah's performance I'm glad there is talk of getting shot...

reat to see Tommy Rosicky getting some love. A wonderful player. Such a pity we lost so long to injury. I was so excited when we signed him, this resurgence only makes the absences seem more of a lost opportunity.
