Leicester duo sign new deals

Alie Sesay and Callum Elder have become the latest young players to sign new contracts at Leicester.

Nigel Pearson: Has handed Callum Elder and Alie Sesay new deals

The defenders join the likes of George Taft, James Pearson, Jacob Blyth, Rob Paratore, Jamie Anton and Jak McCourt in extending their stay at the club after helping Steve Beaglehole's Under-21 side win the Development League Two North title this season.

Sesay, 19, in his third year with the Foxes, is a quick, strong central defender who has impressed alongside Taft for the Under-21s - captaining the team several times in Conrad Logan's absence.

Australian left-back Elder, although just 18, has also featured for the Under-21 side this season as well as being a key member of Trevor Peake's Under-18 set-up.

may well get slated by other United fans for this, but out of the three contenders, I'd far prefer Liverpool to win the title. ooray! We are all excited now, we beat a very mediocre team! With all due respect to WHU supporters, not winning that game shouldn't even be a consideration. This is the problem, there is no winning mentality at the Emirates - we're all congratulating ourselves beating a team that we have a winning record against.
