Nigel Pearson: Ready for clash with Leeds

Both teams made winning starts to their season last week and, while Pearson knows there will be pressure on his ambitious side, he feels the same is true of this weekend's opponents.

He told his club's website: "I think there will be quite high expectations of them this season. But, ultimately, I know as far as our own situation is concerned, we need to get our own early-season form such as it gives us a good platform for the rest of the season.

"I don't know how people are billing the game, but I wouldn't suspect that we're being billed as underdogs. It'll be an interesting game. Both sides will be trying to win the game - that's for sure.

"Again, I think there are a number of sides this season who will be expected to do well and other sides that will surprise a few people as well. It's a difficult division to be consistently good in and there will always be one or two surprises along the way."

Zak Whitbread and Ben Marshall return after missing the midweek Capital One Cup win over Wycombe, leaving the Foxes at full strength.

"Zak has been in non-contact training all week so will be available for selection and Matty James came off the other night as a precaution so we'll keep an eye on him, but all in all we're injury-free," Pearson said.

"Ben Marshall is okay now too, so he'll also be available, so it's quite nice to go into a game with a full squad to select from."

ven if United were to sign CR7 & Messi to play upfront, the fact remains Fletcher and Cleverly are playing in midfield. That's where the problem is. Fletcher is too slow with an awful pass, while Cleverly is simply rubbish
