Both clubs have strong links to Thailand - Everton boast a long-established relationship with brewers Chang, while Leicester's main partner is King Power.

The match will be held at Bangkok's Suphachalasai Stadium on July 27.

Everton chief executive Robert Elstone said: "Leicester showed last year they have the infrastructure and resources to compete at the highest level.

“We look forward to testing ourselves against them as we get ready for what we hope will be another memorable campaign in both the Premier League and Europe.”
