Lewin Nyatanga: Set for Barnsley

A number of Championship clubs, including new boys Yeovil, had held talks with Nyatanga, who left relegated Bristol City at the end of last season.

Now the former Derby County man is set to agree a move to Barnsley - a club he knows well.

Prior to joining Bristol City in 2009, Nyatanga had three different loan spells at Oakwell, impressing in each, and his arrival is likely to be warmly greeted by the Barnsley fans.

Nyatanga is believed to have already had his medical and is now set to sign a two-year deal with the South Yorkshire outfit.
