Danny Graham: Backed to end goalscoring drought

Aluko and Graham are both yet to find the back of the net this season, with Hull scoring just twice in their opening four Premier League games.

"It's coming. At the start of last season it was the same thing with people asking 'When is he going to score?' but I ended up being second top goalscorer," Aluko told the Hull Daily Mail.

"I don't worry about scoring. So long as I keep getting chances and taking shots, then the goals will come," he said.

"I'll be fine. I go out in every game believing I will score and create chances but it's about the whole team as well."

Graham, a summer loan signing from Sunderland, has not scored since January but Aluko believes the drought will soon end.

"You'd worry more if the strikers weren't getting chances," he said.

"He's not making bad runs, he's getting in there and getting chances. He'll start taking them soon.

"He shows that in training and it'll come. You've got to keep believing in yourself and working hard.

"Danny's a confident boy and the team will get behind him.

"You could have a striker who scores 20 goals in a season but unless others chip in then it's not going to count for much.

"It's a team thing, the way we defend as a team."

Robbie Brady added to the support coming Graham's way and said: "The goals will come and once he gets one, I think they will all flood in.

"He is just due a bit of luck. He's been brilliant in training since he's been here and it's just about putting one in the back of the net now and then others will come."

hould have stayed because we carried him for 6.5 years. And then he has a breakthrough season, and was gone soon after. MU fans, you would be as disgusted had C Ronaldo left in 2007 and not 2009.

ood grief. Someone guessed that the form English player at the moment might be in his national side with some other players? And that's espionage? Now if they discovered that Emile Heskey was going to be in the starting line up.... at right back.... THAT would be espionage. Give it a rest Roy.
