Hull City: Closing on Premier League safety

The Tigers, fresh from booking a place in the FA Cup semi-finals, are hoping they can cement their top-flight status before their trip to Wembley next month.

Hull have four games to come before their clash with Sheffield United, and Clemence believes they can continue their good form and get the three wins he feels they need.

"It could not have gone any better up to now," Clemence told the Hull Daily Mail.

"Since Steve Bruce arrived it has gone very well. We've won promotion and are sitting mid table in the Premier League and we're now in the semi-final of the FA Cup.

"First we need to secure our status, which is not easy, because it's hard to win in the Premier League.

"We probably need three wins to secure safety. If we can do that we can all look forward to the semi-final at Wembley, which will be great occasion. But it's also a game we will be looking to win to try and get to the final."

Hull are currently five points clear of the bottom-three.

I

m not sure about this distance covered malarky, plus that stat comes with *since February attached to it, that's just 1 month. I mean I have 27 open cases I'm 'working on' at the moment but believe me others with 10 cases work harder than I do. I just got back from a pub lunch, scampi and chips (+4 pints) in case you were wondering.
