FA Cup action returns this weekend, with a mixed bag of knockout competition bringing six fifth round fixtures and one fourth round replay.

Cup holders Chelsea must try again in a derby date with west London rivals Brentford, while Premier League heavyweights Arsenal and Manchester City will be hoping to negotiate tricky tests against Championship opposition and book their place in the last eight.

Luton Town, meanwhile, will once again be flying the non-league flag in English football's oldest and grandest cup competition.

Luton, who made history by overcoming top-flight Norwich in round four, get the weekend action up and running, with the Blue Square Premier outfit set to welcome second tier Millwall to Kenilworth Road.

Arsenal welcome in-form Blackburn Rovers to the Emirates, with the Gunners looking to take another positive step towards long-awaited silverware.

Possible upsets

MK Dons proved too strong for Queens Park Rangers in the previous round and will be eager to ensure that all of their hard work does not go to waste when they entertain Barnsley.

The final fixture on Saturday sees Oldham Athletic face Merseyside opposition for the second round in a row, with the Latics looking to send Everton the same way as their arch-rivals Liverpool.

On Sunday, the fifth round action continues with Manchester City - aware that a cup exit could leave them empty-handed this season - due to welcome Leeds United, who sent Tottenham packing in round four, to the Etihad Stadium.

Later in the day, Huddersfield Town will get the opportunity to claim themselves a Premier League scalp when they welcome Wigan Athletic to West Yorkshire.

The only fourth round fixture to be staged over the weekend sees Chelsea - who have lifted the trophy four times in the last six years - lock horns with capital foes Brentford at Stamford Bridge on Sunday lunchtime.

m starting to think Roman may never actually be happy at the top level. If he wants all conquering fancy football I wonder if he'd be better off buying a lower division side then paying outlandish salaries to attract high caliber players too good for the division.
