Tom Heaton: Set to join Burnley

Despite City's relegation, Heaton earned a number of plaudits, and the club have offered him terms to remain at Ashton Gate.

However, the 27-year-old has decided to remain in the Championship and it is understood up to four clubs have made offers to him.

But Burnley - who have seen their number one Lee Grant agree a move to Derby County - are in pole position.

Sky Sports understands that former Cardiff City man Heaton has opted to join the Clarets, and will sign a two-year deal with the club in the next 48 hours.
