Chris Burke: Transfer target for Nottingham Forest

Forest boss Alex McLeish has made Burke one of his top priorities in this month's transfer window having worked with him at Rangers and signed him for Birmingham.

McLeish has admitted he is looking to bring in several new signings and he is hoping to push through a deal for Burke.

Birmingham have already rejected one bid from Forest for Burke, but McLeish is expected to return with an improved offer as he looks to secure the winger's signature.

Burke is out of contract at St Andrews in the summer and Birmingham may be forced to cash-in on the Scot due to their financial problems.

t's a bloody good goal, though. Sh!t, the kid's gonna be the worlds best before we know it, isn't he? He's got the touch of genius in him. Like Neymar, but with muscles and stuff. He's doing a Ronaldo as we watch. He's bulked up to be able to ride the tackles, but he's improved technically as well. His touch is sublime. Bugger.
