Radoslaw Majewski: Keen to stay at Nottingham Forest

The 26-year-old Pole's current contract expires in the summer and negotiations over a renewal broke down earlier this month.

It has plunged the midfielder's future at the City Ground into doubt, but he is adamant he has no desire to leave.

Majewski told Weszlo: "It's more about the length of contract. I don't think a 37-year-old would accept a deal like that.

"If I was very keen on staying, I would sign the offer as it was, but then, a year from now, I would be in the very same situation."

Majewski joined Forest in a £1m deal from Polonia Warsaw in May 2010 and has gone on to make 115 appearances for the club, including 16 this season.

He added: "I have accustomed very well in Nottingham. I feel good here and the prospects are growing here.

"[But] the situation is uncertain and Forest will buy in the summer. Even nine players may leave then.

"One of the English clubs is offering me much, but it would be hard for me to leave this place.

"Everything is up in the air."
