Jamie Mackie: Set to leave Queens Park Rangers

Scotland international Mackie has signed for a reported £1.5million fee after making 94 competitive appearances for the Championship club, scoring 18 times, since moving from Plymouth Argyle for £145,000 in May 2010.

The 27-year-old found opportunities limited after Harry Redknapp arrived at the club as manager in November and requested to leave west London for more regular football.

It is the second piece of business finalised by Forest boss Billy Davies after Algeria winger Djamel Abdoun arrived from Greek champions Olympiacos for an undisclosed fee.

Abdoun, capped 11 times by his country, also signed a three-year deal at the City Ground and joined summer arrival Jamie Paterson, from Walsall, in bolstering Davies' squad.
