The 25-year-old had spent two months with Portsmouth, scoring three goals in six games.

But the Cherries have now secured a contract that takes him to Bloomfield Road until New year's day.

Thursday was a busy day for Bournemouth who also said a temporary goodbye to midfielders Josh Wakefield and Mark Molseley.

19-year-old Wakefield joined League Two side Dagenham & Redbridge, while Molseley, 31, moved to Plymouth Argyle. Both signed deals until 22 December.
