David McGoldrick: Being chased by a host of clubs after impressing at Coventry

McGoldrick, who is currently on loan at Coventry City, has been in red-hot form for the Sky Blues, netting 12 goals since joining the club in August.

The 24-year-old's loan deal expires in January when he is due to return to the City Ground, but a number of clubs are monitoring his situation.

McGoldrick is out of contract at the end of the season and he could be sold by Forest in the January transfer window, rather than risk losing him for nothing next summer.

Leeds, Burnley, Blackpool, Barnsley and Millwall are all thought to be keeping tabs on the former Southampton man as they weigh up moves for the free-scoring forward.

However, the Championship quintet could face competition from Dutch side FC Twente for McGoldrick's signature.

FC Twente boss Steve McClaren is a big admirer of McGoldrick having worked with him during his time in charge of Forest and could offer the player a chance to move abroad.

ow is the time for Allardyce to finally get a chance at a big club please. He is likely to have a number of great offers for his services this summer, but who will he choose? Will it be Liverpool, Real Madrid, Dortmund or Man City?
