Bilel Mohsni: Training with Blackpool

The 25-year-old has already spent part of this season on loan at Ipswich Town, but he returned to Southend in January.

The French defender, who can also play as a striker, has attracted a great deal of interest in the past 12 months.

He almost joined West Ham United in the summer after impressing on trial but they could not agree a fee.

Aside from his loan spell at Ipswich, he has also trained with Birmingham, Stevenage and Nottingham Forest, who he was set to join before Alex McLeish's departure.

Now he is with Blackpool, who have long been interested in acquiring his services, but it remains to be seen if they can strike a loan deal with Southend.
