Neal Bishop: Closing in on a move to Blackpool

Bishop is available on a free transfer after cancelling his contract at Meadow Lane by mutal consent earlier this week.

Blackpool have moved quickly to try and bring the midfielder to Bloomfield Road as Paul Ince looks to bolster his squad.

Ince is a big fan of Bishop having worked with the 31-year-old during his time in charge of Notts County.

Bishop is believed to have flown out to Portugal to link-up with Blackpool for their week-long training camp as he gets set for talks over a move to the Seasiders.

Ince is determined to bring in some new faces after losing a number of stars this summer and is hoping to push through a deal for Bishop as soon as possible.
