Wayne Routledge: Five league goals already this season

The new contract , which is yet to be signed, will tie him to the club until the summer of 2016.

Routledge has thrived this term under the management of Michael Laudrup, scoring five goals in 19 Premier League starts.

Both those tallies are more than he managed in the whole of last season, and Routledge is now set to follow the likes of Michu, Michel Vorm, Ashley Williams, Neil Taylor and Ben Davies in committing his future to City.
