Moore was on target once again at the weekend, scoring from close range in the 75th minute to earn the Swans a 2-2 draw at Norwich.

That was a fifth goal of the season for the 27-year-old and his third in his last four appearances.

And Laudrup said: "It's important for him to score goals, because it gives him confidence and that's what you need.

"You need it in every position, but especially when you play there. He plays up there, so he has to be a goalscorer.

"It's important because, in the last four games, he scored a winning goal against Newcastle, scored against West Brom, and now at Norwich."
