Sky Sports understands Premier League duo Swansea and Norwich are tracking Bournemouth midfielder Harry Arter.

Harry Arter: Attracting interest from Swansea and Norwich

Arter is regarded as one of the best young midfielders in the country and was instrumental in Bournemouth's promotion to the Championship this season.

The 23-year-old, who chipped in with eight goals from midfield this term, was rewarded for his fine form with Bournemouth with a new long-term deal in November.

The former Charlton youngster's performances for Bournemouth have not gone unnoticed with clubs higher up the football pyramid keeping tabs on his progress.

Swansea and Norwich are both thought to have had Arter watched in action this season as they weigh up a move for the cultured playmaker this summer.

Eddie Howe would be loath to lose Arter and sees him as central to his plans for the South Coast club in the Championship next season.
