Leon Britton: Impressed by new signings

Last season's Capital One Cup winners have been busy in the transfer market breaking their transfer market to sign Wilfried Bony, while Jonjo Shelvey has arrived from Liverpool.

Swansea kicked off their season with an impressive 4-0 win over Malmo in their Europa League qualifier on Thursday and long-serving midfielder Britton has been impressed by Michael Laudrup's recruitment this summer.

"This is the best Swansea squad I have ever seen," said Britton.

"We now have genuine depth with two players for every position. That means everybody has to be at the top of their game or they will be out of the side.

"It's hard to say where we are exactly at this stage of pre-season but there is more to come from this team for sure."
