Nathan Dyer: Looking forward to Swansea's trip to Valencia

The Swans have played seven times already this season and after the international fortnight they will play another three games in the space of one week against Liverpool, Valencia and Crystal Palace.

While it has been a busy schedule, Dyer believes Swansea will be ready for the visit of table-topping Liverpool to the Liberty Stadium on Monday, 16 September.

"I've been injured, so it's been a bit different for me, but for the boys that have been playing, it's been quite a tough start to the season with all of the games going on," Dyer, who is recovering from a hamstring strain, told the club's official website.

"It'll be good for them to have a few days break and then come back fighting fit. Then we are in all week for the game against Liverpool, so it should set us up well."

Swansea face Valencia just three days after the Liverpool match in their first fixture of the Europa League group stage.

And Dyer is relishing the prospect of a trip to the Mestalla, saying: "Everyone knows who Valencia are.

"It's going to be great for us to play a team like them. Obviously Pablo (Hernandez) came from there, and he knows all about the team.

"It's going to be a really tough test for us; they've had some quality players, and they are a massive team - especially in Europe."

f I were Manuel Pellegrini I would keep quiet and hope the Board didn't notice City not winning anything. If he isn't sacked I'd be astonished.
