Angel Rangel: News faces would be welcome

Michael Laudrup's side are still battling on three fronts and the Spanish defender believes a fresh injection of talent would give the squad a timely lift.

"If the boss decides to do business then it is because he knows we need to strengthen what we have here," he said.

"We are still playing in three competitions and we know the second part of the season is the most important.

"We need to push on now because we are still in the FA Cup, have Napoli in the Europa League and then the most important thing is to focus on the Premier League.

"Staying in this division is the main aim for Swansea City. We will do our best in every competition but I know we have to make sure we stay up."
