Anzhi have been linked with a move for Michu as they look to bolster their attacking options before the close of the Russian transfer window.
Michu is currently recovering from injury and he has missed Swansea's last 15 games with a knee problem.
Monk is not surprised if a number of clubs are chasing Michu, but insists Swansea have no plans to sell the Spain international.
"Michu is the type of player who will attract interest and he is a good player, but he needs to get himself fit and that's got to be his first priority," said Monk.
"We're not a selling club.
"There have been no offers, it is just speculation.
"He is part of our plans and part of what we want going forward.
"There is no one more eager to get back on the pitch and the training field than him."
