Michu: Set to return from injury

The Spanish striker, who joined from Rayo Vallecano in 2012, took English football by storm in his debut season with 22 goals in all competitions, helping the Swans secure the Capital One Cup.

However, the 27-year-old has endured a stop-start second year in the Premier League with injuries and has not featured since mid-December due to an ankle problem.

The Swans currently sit just four points above the relegation zone and Vorm says Michu's potential comeback in the vital tie with West Brom could give his side the edge.

"We have missed Michu for a few months. He is a very good player and very important for this team," he told the Daily Mirror.

"Even if he is on the bench against West Brom, they will not want to play against players like that. It is very important for the whole team to have him back.

"He can score out of nothing, he is such a talented player.

"Michu is clever, with a good attitude. We still have 10 games to go and I am sure he is going to make a big contribution."

xcellent! Not sure if he is any good as a manager (never thought about it) but the 'headbutt in the technical area' and what he said to Pelligrini were just brilliant, it was as if he was trying to recreate the end of the Alan Partridge Xmas special when Alan punched a man in a wheelchair and verbally abused Tony Heirs.
