The match was a testimonial for club captain Paul Robinson, who received a standing ovation when he was subbed two minutes after half-time.

Josh Wright also fired wide for the Lions while defender Mark Beevers nearly doubled their lead only to see his header from a Liam Feeney free-kick flash wide.
