Jermaine Beckford: Striker praised by Huddersfield boss Mark Robins after double

Beckford, who is on loan from Leicester, made it four goals in three matches as Town scored three goals at home for the first time this season, James Vaughan also on target.

Robins said: "It was Premier League finishing from Jermaine. He has been unfortunate with injuries and he would be some player if you had him for 46 games a season.

"I love watching him. He is a master finisher and on his day he is unstoppable and unplayable.

"As a pair Vaughan and Beckford are as good as any in this league. James' work-rate is phenomenal and he doesn't let defenders rest.

"I can't expect any more. The performance was exactly what we needed and what we wanted.

"No team has gone down on 54 points but we still need points from our last two matches and it's still all to play for. It's been an incredible season."

Huddersfield go to bottom club Bristol City next week and Robins said: "Another three points and we should be over the line. Fortunately we don't need favours from anybody."

ven if United were to sign CR7 & Messi to play upfront, the fact remains Fletcher and Cleverly are playing in midfield. That's where the problem is. Fletcher is too slow with an awful pass, while Cleverly is simply rubbish
