Peltier was released from Leeds despite having a further year remaining on his deal at Elland Road, and he returned to Town on a three-year deal having previously spent two seasons there between 2009 and 2011.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Joe Murphy is their only other summer addition so far as he joined on a free transfer from Coventry.

Manager Mark Robins has already spoke of a 'methodical approach' to bringing new faces to the John Smith's Stadium and Hoyle says that they will not be rushed into any deals.

"It's already been said that the market is generally quiet, and that remains the case," Hoyle told the Huddersfield Examiner.

"We have two through the door in Lee Peltier and Joe Murphy, and we have other targets. But we will take our time to make sure the deals are right for the club.

"That is certainly the case with Joe and Pelts. Joe is a good keeper who will provide proper competition for Alex Smithies.

"With Pelts, we know we are getting a good player who feels at home here. He offers versatility and experience, and at 27, he is coming to his prime.

"Things might not have worked out for him at Leeds, but he skippered them and did well on loan at Nottingham Forest last season."

s it the same people that complain about Chelsea that complain about Mayweather? You should by now know what to expect from both, if you can't appreciate how good they are at nullifying their opponents then don't watch them.

do concede though, that getting rid of Luiz has made them less entertaining. In the same way that driving with both eyes open is less exciting, but probably a good idea.
