Mark McGhee has said he would be happy to help managerless Brighton and Hove Albion on a interim basis following the sacking of Gus Poyet on Sunday.

The south coast club are likely to require a caretaker boss to oversee pre-season while Poyet appeals against his dismissal.

McGhee, who managed Albion for three years until 2006, still lives close to the Championship club's Amex Stadium.

He is currently Gordon Strachan's right-hand man with the Scotland team.

However, he told local newspaper The Argus: "I still have contact with people at the club.

"I am here and available and if they wanted me for a couple of weeks without prejudice then absolutely, I would be willing to help them."

s it the same people that complain about Chelsea that complain about Mayweather? You should by now know what to expect from both, if you can't appreciate how good they are at nullifying their opponents then don't watch them.
