Craig Mackail-Smith: Back within six weeks

The Scotland striker's girlfriend Amber last week gave birth to his daughter at home with the help of her father, Peterborough director of football Barry Fry.

New dad Mackail-Smith has now turned his attention to getting fit following a long-term Achilles injury and hopes to be back in action within six weeks.

He told talkSPORT: "It's been going pretty well, I've been working hard with the physios and I've started to move outside and work on getting the running technique back.

"Hopefully five to six weeks will be the time when I'll be back playing."

t's a bloody good goal, though. Sh!t, the kid's gonna be the worlds best before we know it, isn't he? He's got the touch of genius in him. Like Neymar, but with muscles and stuff. He's doing a Ronaldo as we watch. He's bulked up to be able to ride the tackles, but he's improved technically as well. His touch is sublime. Bugger.
