Chris Hargreaves: Happy to keep hold of Goodwin

Highly-rated forward Goodwin initially joined Torquay on a month-long loan deal last month, but he has done enough to win an extension.

The 19-year-old has made two appearances for the Torquay so far and Gulls boss Chris Hargreaves believes there is more to come from Goodwin.

"Shamir isn't really a right winger, but he played well there at Portsmouth (1-0) last Saturday - he got forward in the first half and showed good fighting qualities in the second," said Hargreaves

"He's a fighter, he's tough and there should be plenty more to come from him."
