Will Hoskins: Has been out for over a year

The 27-year-old, who has been sidelined for more than a year following two cruciate operations, made his second appearance for the Seagulls' under-21 side on Monday afternoon.

Hoskins, who got half an hour under his belt last week, this time played for just over an hour against Bristol City's youngsters.

But unlike his appearance seven days ago, Hoskins did not find the net as Brighton slipped to a 5-2 defeat.

The former Rotherham and Watford frontman hopes to regain fitness in time to play some part in the Championship run-in as Brighton chase a play-off spot.

t's a bloody good goal, though. Sh!t, the kid's gonna be the worlds best before we know it, isn't he? He's got the touch of genius in him. Like Neymar, but with muscles and stuff. He's doing a Ronaldo as we watch. He's bulked up to be able to ride the tackles, but he's improved technically as well. His touch is sublime. Bugger.
