The Seagulls are currently three points outside the play-off places and two behind Saturday's opponents Reading in seventh.

Then on Tuesday night they host a QPR side who have slipped to fourth following a run of five games without a win.

"When you look at the table, they are two massive games which could put us in a fantastic position," former Albion left-back Jones told the club website.

"These are the games I relished as a player, any player does, and they are the type of game any player wants to play in. They're not quite season defining, but they could have a big impact on things.

"They are two games that if we can win we know will send us above teams and put us in there.

"We have a good bunch of players, they are self-motivated and they will be looking at the league table and know the importance of the matches."
