Currently sitting eighth in the Championship and on a run of good form that has brought seven points from their last three games, Brighton have enjoyed a dedicated fan base throughout the campaign.

Brighton have had an average game attendance of 27,092 in their 30,750 capacity stadium this season which is the highest in the Championship.

Chief executive Paul Barber said: "It has been a phenomenal initial response and to have so many renewing, so quickly, is excellent.

"It would be easy to take it for granted, but the loyalty shown by Albion fans is quite superb."

Brighton travel to Bolton Wanderers on Saturday, where the Seagulls have not won since 1993.
