Leyton Orient goalkeeper Jamie Jones feels their solid defence can form the basis of a promotion push this season.

Jamie Jones: Pleased with early season form

The table-topping O's remain unbeaten and have conceded just eight goals in the league so far.

"As a back four and as a unit we are solid this season," said Jones. "We've not conceded many in the league.

"I'm pleased with my own form. I took the back end of last season and pre-season into this year and have been doing really well.

"And it helps when the back four I have in front of me have been outstanding, that breeds confidence into my game, and into their game when I'm pulling off saves. Long may it continue."

t's why Mourinho is so successful. He gives players a specific, limited set of functions to perform. They are but a cog in a machine. Do no more, do no less. I assume he learnt it from LvG :)
