Peter Hartley: Loves the positive press

The Hartley-Poole double-act helped John Hughes' side secure their first home win since September and was also the club's first back-to-back league victories since September 2011.

"Well, what a weekend that was!" Hartley told his blog on the club's official website.

"It was all fun and games and I had a very eventful few days given the whole Hartley-Poole interest that came our way following the win over Notts County.

"Me and Pooley don't mind that though, it was all good fun and if we get positive press like that then it means we're scoring and we're doing alright so long may that continue.

"It's been quite bizarre some of the interest we got. It was coming in from Ireland, Norway and even as far away as Australia.

"It's crazy how it took off, but it's been good banter and the other lads have given us a bit of stick but also said we should be milking the publicity!

"To be honest, the best thing about it all was being able to enjoy it after such a crucial win."
