Team of the Week

George Long - Sheffield United

The goalkeeper kept a clean sheet at Bournemouth last weekend and followed that up with another in United's midweek stalemate with Leyton Orient at Bramall Lane. The results helped keep United in the automatic promotion places.

James Chambers - Walsall

Walsall also kept two clean sheets after denying Brentford and Carlisle United. Chambers was involved in both games to keep his play-off chasing club in the hunt for catching the top six.

Sam Collins - Hartlepool United

Relegation-zone occupants Pools are on a run, winning their last three successive games and having not lost in the past seven matches. That form is giving them hope of avoiding the drop and centre-back Collins' partnership at the back with Peter Hartley has been key.

Harry Maguire - Sheffield United

Alongside Neill Collins, the centre-back helped protect goalkeeper Long in keeping two clean sheets in two games as the Blades continue to keep their eyes on promotion back to the Championship.

Joe Skarz - Bury

Bury produced a shock win at clean-sheet specialists Swindon Town in midweek as the 22nd-placed club picked up a 1-0 victory. Left-back Joe Skarz played a role in what was his 40th start of the season and raised hopes of avoiding relegation.

Andy Monkhouse - Hartlepool United

Attacking midfielder Monkhouse scored his third goal of the season late on in Tuesday's victory over Crewe which has formed a part of Hartlepool's formidable run of form.

Mark Duffy - Scunthorpe United

The midfielder has had an excellent season, assisting 12 goals to date, and he was also on target with a 66th minute winner over Stevenage in Tuesday's 1-0 victory. The three points moved Scunthorpe away from the relegation zone.

Kyle Bennett- Doncaster Rovers

Rovers sit at the top of the table thanks to their last-gasp win at Shrewsbury Town and they have midfielder Bennett to thank after his victory-grabbing goal in the third minute of time added on before the final whistle.

Paddy Madden - Yeovil Town

League One leading goalscorer Madden was on target for the 19th time this season with the opener in his club's 1-1 draw at current table-toppers Doncaster last weekend. Despite Tuesday's defeat by Colchester United, Town remain in the play-off places.

Leon Clarke - Coventry City

The division's second highest goalscorer netted in the 12th minute of Saturday's game at Crewe to put his side in front before they threw away the lead to lose 2-1. He also converted a penalty in first-half stoppage time to set up Tuesday's 2-0 win at Bournemouth.

Will Grigg - Walsall

The striker hit a hat-trick for Walsall in Tuesday's win at Carlisle to ensure his place in the Team of the Week. Griggs' goals, of which there have been 13 this season, are keeping his club in the chase for the play-offs.
