Pools prepare Dutch tour

Hartlepool will play Dutch second-tier sides Almere City and Telstar during a mini-tour of Holland in July.

Last Updated: 14/05/13 at 14:52

Pools, currently managerless following the sacking last week of John Hughes, will play Almere on the artificial pitch at the Stadium "de Basis" on Thursday July 4.

The north-east club, relegated to npower League Two, will then take on Telstar at the TATA Steel Stadium the following Saturday (July 6).

Pools spent a week-long trip in the same region of Holland during pre-season last summer and lost both respective fixtures 3-0 and 2-0.
