In four League Two games this season, Pools have yet to find the back of the net and have just a single point for their efforts.

Despite dominating the game for long periods, Fleetwood sneaked victory when Jeff Hughes scored after 15 minutes. And the outcome left Cooper searching for an answer to his team's problems in front of goal, despite ending the game with five strikers on the field.

"It's frustrating again," he said. "For whatever reason we haven't won a game and I feel frustrated for the lads because of it.

"The two teams who have come here and won (Southend and Fleetwood) will be in the top few places and both have won here without having a kick.

"We just cant turn the ingredients and chances into genuine goals. It's not falling for us, or maybe we aren't doing enough for it to fall for us.

"I cannot ask any more than what they are giving or the way they are giving it - I just want to turn it around for our fans."

Striker Steve Howard had an early header cleared off the line before another header late on was acrobatically tipped away by goalkeeper Scott Davies.

Pools peppered the Fleetwood goal from distance but the visitors stood up to the challenge and saw the game out.

"I'll be into the DVD at the nth degree to see why it's not falling for us and we have to find why," added Cooper.

hould have stayed because we carried him for 6.5 years. And then he has a breakthrough season, and was gone soon after. MU fans, you would be as disgusted had C Ronaldo left in 2007 and not 2009.

ood grief. Someone guessed that the form English player at the moment might be in his national side with some other players? And that's espionage? Now if they discovered that Emile Heskey was going to be in the starting line up.... at right back.... THAT would be espionage. Give it a rest Roy.
