Nicky Ajose: Peterborough striker has joined Swindon on loan

Ajose has made just three appearances for Peterborough since he joined from Manchester United two years ago, and still has two years left on his contract.

He has taken in loan spells at Scunthorpe, Chesterfield, Crawley and Bury during his time with Peterborough and has now headed to Swindon.

The 21-year-old recently trained with Scottish Premiership club St Johnstone and had attracted interest from several clubs in League One and Two.

However, he has opted for a move to Swindon and becomes the second striker to leave Peterborough after Emile Sinclair signed for Crawley on Thursday.

I just got back from a pub lunch, scampi and chips (+4 pints) in case you were wondering.
