Jake Hyde: Transfer target for York City

Barnet are facing a battle to keep hold of their best players following their relegation from League Two with a number of clubs keeping tabs on Hyde.

Hyde is looking to leave the Bees and has handed in a transfer request in a bid to secure a move elsewhere.

The news has alerted a host of Football League clubs with the 22-year-old finishing as Barnet's top scorer last season with 14 goals.

York boss Nigel Worthington is thought to be an admirer and has made an enquiry about the former Swindon youngster.
