Tom Soares: Seventh arrival at Gigg Lane

The former Crystal Palace hot prospect spent last season with the Shakers on non-contract terms, making 23 appearances and scoring two goals, but despite that his future remained unclear.

However, the 26-year-old midfielder will return to Gigg Lane this summer on a permanent deal as the club hope for an immediate return to League One.

Soares will become Kevin Blackwell's seventh summer signing joining Nathan Cameron, Ashley Grimes, Greg McDermott, Andrew Proctor, Gareth Roberts and Euan Holden.
