Bury have announced that defender Adam Lockwood has left the club after having his contract terminated by mutual consent.

The 31-year-old former Yeovil centre-back has made just one appearance this season, back in August, having played 20 times in 2012/13 after joining the Shakers on a free transfer.

"Adam leaves Gigg Lane with the club's best wishes and our thanks for his service to Bury FC," a club statement said.
