The 27-year-old was the subject of a late summer bid by Celtic last August but Wisla rejected the offer, meaning Melikson was forced to stay put.
With the January transfer window now open there has been renewed speculation over Melikson's future, with Israeli side Maccabi Tel-Aviv rumoured to be interested in the winger.
Melikson's agent, Dudu Dahana, played down the link with Maccabi, insisting that he was instead trying to tie up a deal with a club from the UK.
"There are no ongoing negotiations [with Maccabi]," Dahana told ynet.co.il. "We are targeting a club from the United Kingdom."
Dahana played down reports Celtic were set to resurrect their move for Melikson as it is his other client, Rami Gershon, who is close to completing a move to the SPL champions.
