Mo Bangura: Yet to secure a regular place at Celtic

Mo Bangura: Yet to secure a regular place at Celtic

The Sierra Leone international came to Scotland in 2011 for about £2m from AIK in August 2011 but he has not featured regularly for Neil Lennon's team and has failed to score in 13 competitive appearances .

He returned to AIK on loan last year and enjoyed some success in the Allsvenskan but failed to force his way into Celtic's starting line-up when he came back last month, despite finding the net against Steaua Bucharest in a friendly.

He will now join one of AIK's rivals ahead of the start of the Swedish season, which gets underway in March.

The 23-year-old told Elfsborg's official website that he first heard of a possible transfer on Wednesday, but that the clubs involved had been in contact before that.
