Celtic thrashed Dundee United 6-2 at Parkhead on Saturday to go 18 points clear of Motherwell and could go a massive 21 points clear at the top if they beat St Johnstone at McDiarmid Park on Tuesday.

Asked if it was now simply a matter of completing an inevitable title win, Wilson said: "I think so yes, especially with the lead we have built up.

"I thought we were brilliant against Dundee United, they are a good side so it was a great result for us.

"I think it works out that if we win the games it could be the end of March (when the title is won), so it makes sense to try to achieve that as soon as possible.

" I would have three games a week, let's get them all in.

"When there are games you don't train much, just prepare for games and when they come so fast, you tick them off and tick them off.

"It's tiring but good. St Johnstone are a good side, good going forward and so it will be interesting and it is always a tough battle with the striker (Gregory) Tade, so it will be a good challenge."

But manager Neil Lennon insists complacency will not be a problem for his title chasing side as the season enters the final stages.

He said: "We want to keep the run going.

"There have been no signs of complacency, we have our targets to reach and some players might have some individual targets so we are pretty focused."
