Neil Lennon: Celtic boss closing on back-to-back title wins

Victory over Hibernian at Celtic Park, coupled with a home defeat for Motherwell against St Mirren, would give Lennon a second straight winners' medal and keep the club on course for a domestic double.

And the manager is excited by the prospect of securing the title in style with an 11th straight home win.

He said: "I would be delighted, thrilled. It's a great feeling, it's a great sense of achievement and it's been our priority from the start of the season.

"Obviously Europe was a high in the season but to put another title on the record of the club would be brilliant and would be great for the players as well and thoroughly deserved.

"First of all we have to beat Hibs and then see what the Motherwell v St Mirren game brings.

"We are at home and our home form has been sensational for the last seven or eight games.

"We've won 10 in a row at home and I want to maintain that. I want us to play with a bit of swagger that's been missing for the last couple of weeks."

e have the personnel. The trick is keeping them fit. Carrick and Blind have missed large chunks of the season, while the defence has been one muddled mess of intermittent stooges, all coming and going at various intervals thus far. We may be just short of title winning quality, but we're half way through. An injury crisis to either of the top two could change things. Optimistic, yes, but not unrealistic.

arish is the man to blame for this shambles. Pulis must be chuckling into his left over turkey sandwich. I pray this doesn't mean the Neil Warnock media machine will kick in now and he'll be back on the telly box.

e almost found a new way to lose, just when I thought it was getting boring Giroud does that. Although Arsenal are deservedly called 'soft' the entire midfield is out injured. Still must admit MU are managing to win despite a similar raft of absentees. Think the Gunners have good players but poorly coached.
