Nir Biton: Israel midfielder looks set to join Celtic

The 21-year-old is a holding midfielder with six international caps and he attracted interest from Manchester City last year, spending two trial spells with the Premier League side.

If his move to Celtic goes through, Biton will link up with fellow Israel international Beram Kayal and former Ashdod man Efe Ambrose.

The presence of Biton would help Celtic to compensate for the departure of Victor Wanyama, who joined Southampton in July.
