Morgaro Gomis: Free agent this summer

Bauben and Gomis are both free agents this summer with their contracts at Watford and Birmingham respectively coming to an end.

The duo are unlikely to be offered new deals by Watford and Birmingham and the news has alerted a number of clubs in England and Scotland.

Gomis joined Birmingham in 2011, while Bauben also left Dundee United for Watford in the same summer.

The midfield pair impressed during their time together at Dundee United and both players are highly regarded in Scotland.

New Aberdeen boss Derek McInnes is keen to bolster his squad at Pittodrie and with Gomis and Bauben both available on free transfers makes them attractive propositions for the Dons.

Rangers continue to work under the restrictions of a transfer embargo, but they can sign free agents from September 1 and Gomis and Bauben are both thought to be on their wanted list.
