Brechin first up for Rangers

Rangers begin their first season in Division Two with a home match against Brechin City on Saturday, August 10.

That is followed by successive away matches against Stranraer and Airdrie United before East Fife travel to Ibrox to face the third division champions on the final day of the month.

Over the festive period, Ally McCoist's side entertain Stranraer on Boxing Day before travelling to East End Park to face Dunfermline on December 28 and Airdrie United at Broadwood on January 2.

In Division One, newly-promoted Queen of the South begin their campaign with a home match against last season's SPL bottom club Dundee on Saturday, August 10.

The same day sees fellow-promoted side Alloa entertain Livingston while Hamilton Accies travel to face Raith Rovers at Starks Park.

In the third division, relegated Albion Rovers begin life in the bottom tier of Scottish football with a trip to Elgin City.
